Raul Ibañez is currently an MLB analyst at ESPN. He provides commentary for Baseball Tonight and also serves as an analyst for select games. In addition to MLB studio programming, Ibañez contributes analysis to SportsCenter and other news and information programming.
Prior to joining ESPN in 2016, Raul was a MLB Analyst at FOX Sports.
Ibañez had a 19-year MLB career as a left fielder and designated hitter. He played for the Seattle Mariners (1996-2000, 2004-08, 2013) Kansas City Royals (2001-03, 2014), Philadelphia Phillies (2009-11), New York Yankees (2012), and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (2014).
Over the course of his career, Ibañez batted .273 with eight seasons of 20 or more home runs, two seasons with 30 or more home runs, six seasons with 90 or more RBI, four seasons with 100 or more RBI, and ten consecutive seasons with 30 or more doubles. He was also named an All-Star in 2009.
